This handbook is conceived as a companion and shield for officers of Bank of Baroda who face or may face disciplinary proceedings. Domestic inquiry is not a mere internal formality; it is a quasi-judicial process governed by statutory regulations, principles of natural justice, and constitutional discipline. Experience shows that many cases are lost not on facts but on procedural lapses, ignorance of rights, or delayed objections.
